Launched in 2024, the Female Filmmakers Support Programme aims to support and empower female filmmakers from six Southeast European countries where UNIQA insurance operates: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Romania, and Bulgaria. The program was designed to strengthen the presence and visibility of women in the regional film industry through financial support, mentorship, and professional development.
The selected filmmakers also receive career development support through the Training and Skills program at CineLink Industry Days, the industry section of the Sarajevo Film Festival.
The total fund for the 2025 program amounts to 180,000 euros, with a strong commitment to the principles of gender equality in the film industry.
