Slano Film Days
Slano Film Days is a new film event that connects emerging regional filmmakers with renowned film professionals from around the world. The program includes film talks, screenings, and numerous informal gatherings. Through open dialogue among filmmakers, the exchange of ideas and experiences, Slano Film Days aims to inspire participants to develop new projects and support their professional and personal growth, while also offering insight into the careers and achievements of some of today’s most successful filmmakers.
Film talks, case studies, and one-on-one meetings with renowned filmmakers and industry professionals are primarily intended for young directors and actors from the region, and additionally include workshops for cinematographers, producers, and other film professionals. In a relaxed atmosphere, free from competitive pressure, participants have a unique opportunity to talk openly about the creative process of filmmaking, their ideas, and new projects.
Participation is by invitation only, with participants coming from Southeast Europe as well as other parts of the world.
Evening screenings at the open-air cinema showcase films personally selected by filmmakers attending Slano Film Days, and prior to each screening, the audience has a unique opportunity to greet the filmmakers.
