Iva Babić
Actress
Iva Babić is a Croatian actress born in Virovitica in 1988. She graduated in acting from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb in 2012. That same year, she played roles in the TV series NEDJELJOM UJUTRO, SUBOTOM NA VEČER (2012) and NA TERAPIJI (2013), for which she won the Croatian Theater Award. In the following years, she appeared in films such as HITAC (2013), ŽIVOT JE TRUBA (2015), BIĆEMO PRVACI SVETA (2015), and TV series CRNO BIJELI SVIJET (2016) and ČUVAR DVORCA (2017). She also acted in English-language projects, including the HBO TV pilot VIRTUOSO (2015), the Amazon TV series THE ROMANOFFS (2017), and the Legendary/Sony film THE MACHINE (2023). Additionally, she appeared in the Croatian TV series DNEVNIK VELIKOG PERICE (2021, 2024), which won the Heart of Sarajevo Award for Best TV Comedy. Since 2024, she has been teaching acting technique based on Mihail Chekhov's method as an assistant at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb.
