Magdalena Ptiček

Cinematographer

Magdalena Ptiček is a Croatian cinematographer born in 1994 in Varaždin. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Film and Video Cinematography from the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. In 2017, she participated in the Sarajevo Talents program as a director of photography. She has shot several short fiction and documentary films, with some of the most notable being HOME FOR CHRISTMAS (2017), FRAGILE (2019), and NOW I'M IRENA (2020). In recent months, she completed work on the short fiction film BANANAFISHES (2025), the short documentary ASPARAGUS BEAR (2025), and the documentary series GRAFFITI (2025).
