Christine A. Maier

Christine A. Maier is a cinematographer who has worked with Henner Winckler, Amie Siegel, Jamie Babbit and Barbara Albert. Her collaboration with Jasmila Žbanić includes GRBAVICA, winner of the Golden Bear at Berlinale in 2006, and QUO VADIS, AIDA?, which won the EFA for Best Film in 2021 and earned Oscar and BAFTA nominations. In 2021, Maier received the Austrian Film Award for Best Cinematography and the German Camera Award for QUO VADIS, AIDA?.
