Dubravka Kurobasa

Cinematographer

Dubravka Kurobasa is a Croatian cinematographer born in 1987 in Rijeka. She completed her BA and MA studies in Cinematography at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. She participated at Berlin Talents in 2019, and Talents Sarajevo in 2016. As a director of photography, she filmed numerous short films, such as FIRST WORK, THEN PLAY (2021), EMIL (2019), FOLLOWING (2018), A MONTH (2017) and 37 DAYS (2015). For the omnibus DEEP CUTS (2018) she was awarded with the Special Jury Mention at the SEEfest  in Los Angeles in 2019, and the Golden Arena for Best Cinematography at the Pula Film Festival in 2018. She has filmed several documentaries, and one feature film, the Finnish thriller GUILT (2015).
