Ivan Salatić

Ivan Salatić is a Montenegrin director and screenwriter born in 1982 in Dubrovnik. He graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Cetinje and completed his Master’s in Film at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. He made the short films INTRO (2013), HEAVENS (2014), SHELTERS (2014), BACKYARDS (2015) and SINOVI SMO TVOGA STIJENJA (2018). His first feature film YOU HAVE THE NIGHT (2018) was shown at the Venice International Film Critics’ Week and subsequently won the Best Film awards at the Hong Kong Film Festival and the Belgrade Auteur Film Festival, as well as the Best Director award at the Herceg-Novi Film Festival – Montenegro Film Festival.
