Joanna Kulig is an actress and singer. She gained international attention for her award-winning lead role in Pawel Pawlikowski’s COLD WAR (Palme d’Or–winner and three Oscar nominations). She also starred in Pawlikowski’s THE WOMAN IN THE FIFTH, IDA (Oscar winner for Best Foreign Language Film), and the recent FATHERLAND. She has appeared in MASTERS OF THE AIR, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks and directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, and in Rebecca Miller’s SHE CAME TO ME alongside Peter Dinklage, Anne Hathaway, Marisa Tomei. She is known for Damien Chazelle’s THE EDDY and Polish and French films including Malgorzata Szumowska’s ELLES with Juliette Binoche, Wojciech Smarzowski’s CLERGY, Jérôme Salle’s KOMPROMAT, and Nora Jaenicke’s ISOLA. She appeared in KNOX GOES AWAY with Michael Keaton and currently she stars in the new Netflix’s historical drama miniseries LEAD CHILDREN.
