MARKO ĐORĐEVIĆ is a Serbian director born in 1988. Marko graduated from the Department of Film and Television Directing at the University of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. During his studies, he made several films, the most successful of which was “The Other Shore“. His first movie, “My Morning Laughter,” was screened in November 2019 as a part of the Author Film Festival. He was awarded the “Aleksandar Saša Petrović” Grand Prix for the best film of the Festival. The international premiere of the film followed at the 49th International Film Festival in Rotterdam, after which it was shown across many festivals, both national and international. It won many awards, including one for best feature at the Molodist Festival, the Golden Propeller and the FIPRESCI award at the Motovun Film Festival, to name but a few. He is currently working on his next film with the working title “Za danas toliko“.
