Timon Šturbej

TIMON ŠTURBEJ is a Slovenian actor born in 1994 in Maribor. He graduated from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television of the University in Ljubljana. He is a member of the Slovenian National Theatre and a multiple award winner. Even before enrolling in the Academy, he won the Best Actor Award at the Minsk Theatre Festival (2013). Timon has also participated in the international workshop of the Munich Film Academy. In 2018 he won the Vesna Award at the Slovenian Film Festival for his role in the film “Consequences” by Darko Stante, while “Riders”/”Spring Dreaming” by Dominik Mencej won him the European Shooting Star award at the 2022 Berlinale.
