Stefan Đorđević
Director
Stefan Đorđević is a Serbian director, born in 1987 in Bor. He studied Cinematography at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, where he completed both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
As part of his graduation project, he worked on the short film A HANDFUL OF STONES, directed by Stefan Ivancić, which had its international premiere in the ACID program at Cannes and was later screened at numerous international film festivals.
He began his film career as an actor in the feature film TILVA ROŠ (2010), directed by Nikola Ležaić, in which he played one of the leading roles. The film was nominated for the European Discovery Award by the European Film Academy.
He directed the short film THE LAST IMAGE OF FATHER (2019), which premiered at Locarno. The film won multiple awards, including the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Short Film. His short documentary PORTRAIT OF A DYING GIANT (2023) was featured at the Venice Biennale of Architecture.
His debut feature film, WIND, TALK TO ME (2025), premiered in the Tiger Competition at Rotterdam and won the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Film.
