CineLink Workshop 2026
CineLink Workshop in Slano unfolds as an intimate yet highly focused gathering of film professionals, designed to foster both creative development and strategic thinking. The program brings together twelve participants, creating a concentrated environment where meaningful exchange and tailored mentorship can take place.
At its core, the initiative combines two complementary strands. CineLink Co-Production Market workshop selected three projects in development, each represented by a director–producer duo and placed them in a hands-on, mentor-driven process. Running in parallel, CineLink Producers’ Lab welcomes six emerging producers. This workshop will serve as the first module of the lab, with the second module to follow in Sarajevo, extending the developmental arc beyond the coastal setting.
While CineLink Co-Production Market workshop focuses on advancing individual projects through intensive script and production consultations, the CineLink Producers’ Lab takes a broader, forward-looking approach. Its emphasis lies in strengthening producers’ companies, refining their slates, and shaping long-term strategic positioning within the international market. Together, the two strands create a dynamic interplay between project-based development and career-oriented growth as well as merging with the new voices of Slano Film Days.
The program is further enriched by the presence of mentors and guest speakers. At the heart of the mentoring framework are Franz Rodenkirchen and Françoise von Roy, who guide participants through script and project development, while Yorgos Tsourgiannis leads sessions dedicated to producer-focused work and the long-term dynamics of director–producer collaboration. Additional script consultations are provided by Elma Tataragić, ensuring that projects receive layered and comprehensive feedback. The CineLink Producers’ Lab is complemented by the participation of acclaimed European producers, with Erik Hemmendorff (Platform Produktion) and Janine Jackowski (Komplizen Film). The program also welcomes the sales expert Olivier Barbier (Lucky Number) among the invited contributors, continuing a collaboration established in previous editions.
Fully integrated into the framework of Slano Film Days 2026, the CineLink program operates in parallel with the broader event, sharing both its timeline and creative energy. Its structure is built on a clear division of focus: directors, including those presenting projects in the Co-Production Market workshop, participate in film talks with directors at Slano Film Days, while producers engage in the dedicated activities of the CineLink Producers’ Lab.
