Family Film Weekend in Slano

This year, leading up to Slano Film Days, the audience in Slano will have the opportunity to enjoy the Family Film Weekend on June 14 and 15, organised by the Municipality of Slano and the Slano Tourist Board.

Speaking at the conference held today at the Admiral Grand Hotel in Slano were Nikola Knežić, Mayor of Slano, Klara Vojvodić Medar, Director of the Slano Tourist Board, and Miro Purivatra, creator of the concept and director of Slano Film Days.

“This year, the program has been expanded, so in addition to the screenings during Slano Film Days, I would also like to invite all film lovers to the Family Film Weekend on June 14 and 15, as a prelude to SFD. I believe our youngest visitors, as well as their parents, will enjoy watching films in an open-air cinema. Film as an art form is incredibly important, not only for fostering creativity and empathy in children but also for families, as those moments of watching films together with parents remain among our most cherished lifelong memories.” - Nikola Knežić, Mayor of Slano

With the support of Slano Film Days, the following feature films will be screened:

14/6  HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON

15/6 HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE

The screenings will take place in the garden of Vila Riva, starting at 9:30 PM. Admission is free.
