Second edition of Slano Film Days 17 – 21 June 2025
The second edition of Slano Film Days, which connects emerging filmmakers and eminent names from the world of film and film industry, will take place 17-21 June 2025 in Slano and the Elaphiti Islands.
The author of the concept and director of Slano Film Days, Miro Purivatra, and his associates have managed to establish Slano as a new meeting point for filmmakers and film lovers.
"Slano Film Days is a unique experience," said last year's guest of Slano Film Days and five-time Oscar winner Alfonso Cuarón. “This is a community of filmmakers of different cultural backgrounds and generations who have come together to share different approaches in their creative impulses. All differences are erased in the common goal of acquiring knowledge and making films."
A total of 13 filmmakers have been invited to participate at the 2nd edition of Slano Film Days. They will attend workshops in the field of directing, acting and camera, which will contribute to their professional and personal development.
Five established directors will participate in the program intended for directors:

Nebojša Slijepčević (Croatia)
Lectures and workshops intended for actresses and actors will be attended by six actresses and actors who have already played notable roles in numerous films:
Iva Babić (Croatia)
Yllka Gashi (Kosovo*)
Marko Grabež (Serbia)
Maja Izetbegović (Bosnia and Herzegovina)
Klara Kuk (Slovenia)
Mišo Obradović (Montenegro)
Lectures and workshops for cinematographers will be attended by two female cinematographers who are very successful in their film work:
Magdalena Ptiček (Croatia)
Emilija Gašić (Serbia)
Emilija Gašić will attend the 2nd Slano Film Days as both director and cinematographer.

The partner of Slano Film Days is the leading film festival in the region - Sarajevo Film Festival.
The participation of film professionals and students from the region at the 2nd Slano Film Days is supported through a partnership with regional film centers and funds: Croatian Audiovisual Center, Film Center Serbia, Film Center of Montenegro and Slovenian Film Center.
