Slano hosts Slano Film Days 2024

Slano, one of the most picturesque places on the Dubrovnik Riviera, with a long cultural tradition and rich historical landmarks, will host the Slano Film Days for the first time 18 – 22 June 2024.

The gathering of regional filmmakers and the greatest names in world cinema in Slano, within the Slano Film Days 2024, aims to inspire all participants for their new film projects through the exchange of ideas and experiences about the creative process of filmmaking.

Slano Mayor Nikola Knežić has expressed his satisfaction with the upcoming Slano Film Days. He is confident that all participants and guests will enjoy the beauty of this region during their stay in Slano.

"On behalf of our municipality, I can say that we are extremely pleased to support and enhance the quality of cultural offerings in Slano in this way, but also to permanently establish this part of Southern Dalmatia as a meeting place for filmmakers and professionals from the region and the world."

The 2024 Slano Film Days program, Film Talks with specially prepared topics for directors, actors, and cinematographers, will be held at the partner hotel, Admiral Grand Hotel.

In the evening, Slano will host film screenings by award-winning filmmakers who will attend the Slano Film Days. The first film screening, on the opening night, will take place in the main square in Slano. Other film screenings will take place in the garden of Villa Riva, where informal networking of all participants and guests of the Slano Film Days will also take place.
