Jelena Gavrilović
Director
Jelena Gavrilović was born in 1990 in Belgrade. She graduated in Film and Television Directing from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. Her student films Momci, gde ste (Boys, Where Are You?) and Sve je više stvari koje dolaze (There Are More and More Things Coming) were screened and awarded at numerous international film festivals, including FIPA, Sarajevo Film Festival, Winterthur, Wiesbaden, and others. Nikog nema (No One Is Here) is her graduation film, which had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival. Since 2013, she has directed TV series, including #SamoKažem (#JustSaying), Grupa (The Group), Kljun (The Beak), The Outsiders, Tajkun 2 (Tycoon 2), and Važne stvari (Important Things). In 2024, she directed 10 episodes of the first season of Sram (Shame) for HRT1.
