Gaja Naja Rojec

Gaja Naja Rojec is a Slovenian cinematographer and producer born in 1993 in Ljubljana. She graduated from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television at the University of Ljubljana. Gaja has diverse experience in film (as DOP, camera operator and AC), theatre and NGO sector. Her graduate film NOBODY TOLD ME I HAVE TO LOVE YOU (2019) was the first Slovenian film selected to Cinéfondation section at the Cannes Film Festival. Recently she made a short documentary film FRAMING SUTHERLAND (2021). She co-curated and filmed a vast memorial exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Bosnian war, IT HAPPENED VERY CLOSE TO US (2022).
