Jana Plećaš

Cinematographer

Jana Plećaš, a Croatian cinematographer, was born in Zagreb in 1986. She graduated in cinematography and videography from the Zagreb Academy of Dramatic Art. For her debut film, QUIT STARING AT MY PLATE, she received the Nikola Tanhofer Cinematography Award from the Croatian Cinematographers Society in 2017. At the 2020 Pula Film Festival, she received the Golden Arena for her camera work on the film MATER as well as the Golden Arena for the scenography on the movie MARE.
