Norika Sefa
Director
Norika Sefa is a Kosovar director born in 1991 in Gjakova. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Norika directed the short hybrid documentaries DESDE ARRIBA (2020) and KISS ME, NOW (2020). Her first feature film, LOOKING FOR VENERA (2021), premiered at the IFF Rotterdam, winning the Special Jury Award in the Tiger Competition. The film also brought her other festival awards: Hong Kong FF (Best Director, Best Actress), Sarajevo FF (Special Award for Gender Equality), Trieste IFF (Cineuropa Award) and Bildrausch Filmfest Basel (Peter Liechti Award). Norika is currently writing her next feature film and her next documentary is in the pre-production phase.
