Film Talks with Cinematographer Michael Seresin
Cinematographer Michael Seresin is coming to Slano to lead Film Talks with female cinematographers, sharing his rich professional knowledge as well as discussing films and career plans of emerging female cinematographers from Croatia and the region. These special Film Talks for female cinematographer aim to promote gender equality in the film industry, particularly for women behind the camera.
Cinematographer from New Zealand, known for his work with directors such as Alan Parker, Harold Becker, Alfonso Cuarón, and Matt Reeves. As a director of photography, he has worked on films such as MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (1978), ANGEL HEART (1987), HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN (2004), DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES (2014), and WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES (2017). As a film director, he directed HOMEBOY (1988), starring Mickey Rourke, who also wrote the screenplay.
